Real-Life Death Ray Built by Teenager

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

If you happen to have a fiberglass satelite dish and 5800 mirrors you can build your own deathray just like Eric Jacqmain, a 19-year-old from Indiana. His death ray that can turn a woodden log on fire instantly, not talkig about cutting alluminum cans like butter or melting the concrete.
Yes, the R5800 Solar Death Ray (that is literally what it is called), just 5-foot-9-inches tall and is 42 inches across, has achieved what Archimedes supposedly accomplished using bronze and copper shields.

Unfortunately, Jacqmain's death ray was destroyed in a shed fire set either by Superman's heat vision or possibly a bomb planted by a 007-type secret agent.
Watch the video to see deathray in action destroying every object on it's way.

Must say that's pretty impressive, a lot like the solar plants that focus light onto a tower I imagine

Oh, i saw this a few days ago. Really cool, but also somewhat terrifying what teenagers are able to construct!

It's kinda like a magnifier, yes?

That is awesome, I want to hear more about how Archimedes created a death ray back in the bronze age!

Wow.... that's nuts, I gotta watch out if my kids will ever make something like that.

fucking genious man

Absolutely incredible. I can see a lot of potential for this tech. The possibilities for pinpoint missile defense are the first thing that come to mind.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a
bit, but instead of that, this is great blog.

A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.
